Surgery went well. My ankle is back in one piece with the help of a plate and a bunch of screws. My surgeon even signed his work, his initials, JL. hahaha Hopefully I will be back on my feet by new years!

Three-time Olympic medallist hurts ankle in Florida
It was really hard to watch the World Championships from home. I still can't believe I broke my ankle two days before the competition I worked so hard for all year. It feels like a bad dream. The plan is to get surgery in two weeks once the swelling comes down. Thank you to everyone for your support. My family, my husband, and my little one are taking good care of me. I will be back on my feet soon!
