Hey all!! Here is an interview I did with Transworld Snowboarding, it gives you a play by play of what has happened in the past few weeks with Olympics and my take on everything that has come with it! http://snowboarding.transworld.net/photos/first-impressions-gold-full-interview-sage-kotsenburg/#.UxFarCm9LCR
We sat down with Sage Kotsenburg and got the full, inside scoop on what winning gold at the Olympics was really like.
Wow what an experience this has been. Slopestyle Semis and Finals are today and everyone has been riding soo well!! But as much as slopestyle will be done today, snowboarding marches on without skipping a beat. Let's go stomp some runs and have some fun! Very proud to be repping the stars and stripes out here today!
Pretty sick to be a part of this article, I think it is well written and shows another side of snowboarding in a mass media post, check it if you want! http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/02/sage-kotsenburg-danny-davis-olympics-snowboarding/
The 2014 Winter Olympics began Thursday with the qualifiers for snowboarding slopestyle. The event is new, which is perhaps why the Sochi organizers have scheduled it for the day before the Opening...
Hey everyone!! Thank you so much for the love and support! I put down two runs today that I was sooo hyped on and at the end of the day who cares about a score at a contest even if it's the Olympics. I don't solely snowboard to win but if I do it's definitely sweet. We're just snowboarding, doesn't always have to be about winning a heat or a contest. We have semifinals and finals in 2 days and I'll be putting down some more runs for sure. Keep it Spoice!! 😜
Ok let me squash this. The slopestyle course is BIG here im Sochi! Why people are claiming it is the sketchiest most dangerous course and deeming it "unsafe" while they haven't even taken a run in it is beyond me. We just finished 3rd day of practice here a while ago, the course was really good. It is shaping up to be a very very nice course, especially because there has not been a course ever built on this run before I think they did a really good job. Accidents do happen in slopestyle and people get hurt, in this case it was definitely not the courses fault, just a freak and super unfortunate accident. Let's go have some fun tomorrow during qualifiers!
New Holy Crail is up!! Check it out if you want I think it's pretty cooo http://bit.ly/HolyCrail_Ep5
After qualifying for the US Olympic Team at Mammoth, Sage heads to X Games for one more event to compete in Slope and Big Air
